you know, when i was fired from pepitos and weeks later found out i was pregnant with wren we had moments of panic. i interviewed almost daily for weeks, trying so hard to find a job that wasn't in childcare. i think i applied for every secretarial position on craigslist, hoping that someone would hire me, and then be understanding when i told them weeks into a new position that i was pregnant. it was then that such a random stroke of luck and fate connected us with erin and chris. in desperation to find care for luna their family turned to craigslist. in desperation(and frustration) as our bank account dwindled and i knew my belly would soon be showing, i put an ad out to nanny, even though i thought it was the last thing i wanted to do. and in that desperation we connected. within a week i emailed back and forth with erin, met their family, they met mike....and next thing i knew luna was my fulltime gig, chris was in new york, and wren was getting bigger in my tummy.
well. here we are now. back around. i dont know what we would have done without these amazing people in our lives. they have been an unending source of love, encouragement, support and joy. luna went from being a little girl waiting for my baby to come out and play, to becoming this zany, loving 3 year old who is an amazing big sister to wren and frequently makes us laugh til we cry. it is awesome to have chris back in minnesota fulltime, and to be able to hang out as families and watch the girls play together.
