the fourth of july we were at the farm for a family reunion and great grandpa larson's birthday. wren spent a very large portion of her day beside the chicken coop. she watched those chickens endlessly. absolutely fascinated. sometimes she wandered away, but if she heard dominick, the rooster, crowing, then she would convince someone to take her back over to visit. she was crowing back at dominick, and also clucking at the hens. i kept trying to get video of it, but you know how that goes...
