practicing.

it has been so warm and wren has been running around our apartment naked, or nearly naked, most days. this has resulted in occasional peeing on the floor. i figured as long as we are cleaning up pee, and talking about pee, we might as well practice going potty, too.

once we started talking about it, wren has been enthusiastically asking to sit on the potty. she goes into the bathroom and grabs the potty seat. then she whaps it with her hand while yelling, "up! up! up!" i think this largely has to do with the fact that she loves imitating her friends, and watches luna and olive potty all the time.

so far she has peed in the toilet once. and she has peed on the floor maybe ten times(and one poop. on the floor.) oh, well. practice makes perfect. and seriously, when you have potty trained rooms of twenty toddlers, sweet wren's pee puddles seem like no big deal at all...

Go, Wren! Olive started dabbling in pottying last summer and figured out the poop thing then, so even though we didn't tackle peeing until 6 months later - 6 months less of dirty diapers was sure nice!
